List of Software Skills as a CMF Designer
CMF設計師必備軟體技能清單
Below is a list of software needed to be equipped as a CMF Designer, grouped by functionality. It may seems a lot, but you don’t need to master in all of these software, as most software of the same functionality are similar and easy to catch-up.
More importantly, it is better to adapt to the software used by the team. For instance, if the team uses Google Hangouts for conference calls, you should switch to the same software even if you used to use another method for conference calls. The purpose is to avoid hiccups during team collaborations.

下方清單是作為 CMF設計師 需要配備的軟體技能，按功能分組。看起來或許很多，但其實不需要精通所有的軟體，而且大多數同功能的軟體都大同小異、易於上手。
更重要的是，加入新團隊的時候，請與大家保持一致。比如，如果團隊使用Google Hangouts進行電話會議，即使您過往使用的事其他電話會議的方式，也應該切換到和團隊相同的軟體，才不會造成團隊合作上的困擾。

Outlook, Word, Excel, or any other equivalent software.
Frequency: 100%
Explanation unneeded. These are must-have software skills almost for any level of corporate jobs.
Presentation Software 簡報軟體
PowerPoint, Google Slides, Keynote, or any other equivalent software.
Frequency: 100%
Other than creating presentation slides, these software are also often used when creating CMF Spec sheets and CMF Story during proposal stage.
Graphics Editor Software 修圖軟體
Photoshop or any other equivalent software.
Frequency: 100%
Sometimes Photoshop is needed to fine-tune design renderings, and in many cases, Photoshop is also needed to adjust the color of the photos to be closer to the actual CMF samples.
Vector Graphics Editor Software 向量繪圖軟體
Illustrator, CorelDRAW, or any other equivalent software.
Frequency: 85%.
In some cases, CMF Designers are asked to work with logo and pattern vector files, and therefore, these software are often required when working with logo artwork or pattern design.
3D Rendering Software 三滴渲圖軟體
Keyshot, VRED, or any other equivalent software.
Frequency: 85%
As a CMF Designer, you might not need to use 3D modeling software, but it is always helpful to be able to use 3D rendering software in order to create your own renderings of various CMF concepts.
Computer-Aided Pattern Editor Software 建模參數化軟體
Grasshopper or any other equivalent software.
Frequency: 30%
This is for CMF Designers who are advanced with pattern design for computer-aided pattern editing.
3D Modeling Software 建模軟體
Solidworks, Rhino, or any other equivalent software.
Frequency: 30%
As mandatory for Industrial Designers, however, 3D modeling software is not a must-have skillset for CMF Designers.
