Why is that?

CMF is a specialized field with a limited talent pool, yet its scope of responsibilities range widely. From trend forecasting, color strategy, material innovations, and manufacturing processes to execution for mass production, these roles are not enough to cover the entire spectrum of CMF Design!

Each company may have unique needs for their CMF team. If a recruiter is not well-informed of these specific needs or the varied responsibilities within CMF Design, it can easily become a lengthy process of wandering around unsuitable candidates.

▹ Putting long-term vision aside, what are your most urgent CMF challenges to resolve?

▹ Is this the first CMF Designer in the company? Is there anyone to mentor this person on CMF roles and responsibility?

▹ Is there a standard procedure for CMF at the company, or requiring someone to set the grounding work?

▹ Visa requirements? Language requirements? Relocation sponsorship? Don’t forget these hard requirements beyond experience and skill sets!
